ACCOMODATION IN TRIESTE
All participants are suggested to reserve rooms as soon as possible, as other meetings will be held in Trieste in the same period. Please contact directly the hotel, via email, specifying that you are a participant of IME CONGRESS 2011.
Note that reservations via Hotel websites can result in a “fully booked” message, simply due to the fact that blocks of rooms are allocated to IME congress as well as other congresses and meetings.

Hotels are not within walking distance from the Congress site, i.e. the University. The University can be easily reached by public transportation; when in Trieste, please ask to your hotel which is the nearest bus stop and which bus line you have to catch. The bus ride from the town centre to the Congress site can take 10-15 minutes. Bus tickets can be purchased at tobacconist and newspapers shops (no ticket sale on board). Vending machines are available, but just at some bus stops. Most hotels are within walking distance from Hotel Savoia, where the Congress Dinner will take place.
